I schooled in Chennai, attended Mumbai University, taught undergrad on and off, lived in Mauritius for over ten years, spent quality time with parents-in-law and mother in my home and brought up a son and daughter, who are both married now. I have been involved with Women's organizations especially in an all Women drama group that has staged a play a year in the past 17 years dealing with social problems. My husband is now a Professor and I work part-time as a Language and Content Editor with an E-education organization. I freelance with Eves Touch, Economic Times and Madras Musings. I sing and am an evening couch potato flipping Hindi and Tamil soaps. I am compulsorily a news buff, only because of my husband. I have travelled all over and hope to put in a few more miles in my diary. Reading and Crosswords are an addiction. Cooking is part of the psyche and Vedanta is a new interest.I teach Vedic Heritage to kids and have become a storyteller apart from appearing in movies and TV soaps in a blink-a-minute roles.
